Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent and three years of clerical experience, Associates Degree preferred. Performs other duties related to the Select Board’s responsibilities. The work involves: Extensive typing, drafting of letters, minutes of meetings, memorandum, etc., answering and placing phone calls, performing ombudsman and constituent service tasks and answering inquires about a variety of activities of the Select Board Office. ![]() The incumbent serves as the principal source of office support for the Executive Director. Under the direction of the Executive Director of Governmental Services and the Assistant Executive Director, this position performs administrative and clerical duties which vary in degree of complexity and assists in the fulfillment of the Office of the Executive Director. The Office is also responsible for managing permits, licensing and Notary services, representing and promoting the Town in civic, business and public functions, and all Town-wide communications to promote citizen engagement. ![]() Key responsibilities include the implementation of Town regulations and policies, development of long-term planning objectives and economic opportunities, providing management guidance and oversight to other Town Departments, and collaborating with Town boards and committees.
